At the Stationery Show, getting 5 orders is good on your first time. You may do fewer, you hopefully will do more. There were upwards of 50 letterpress printers at last year’s show, so competition is a bit fierce. Friendly, but fierce!

What’s a huge amount of orders, and why should we not expect them from the stationery show? If not a good amount of sales, I see no benefit to doing it. That’s why we’re there, right?

Thanks for the step-by-step how to. I’ve had a couple of opportunities to die cut but have been a bit nervous. Basically know how, but your photos gave me a kick in the butt. Aren’t C&Ps great presses! Print beautifully, emboss/de-boss, die cut, score, perforate, number. I love ’em. I have a 10×15 and an 8×12.

Black Heart Letterpress replied to the topic Whats the best resource for ink? in the forum Supplies and Sources 12 years, 8 months ago
I use Spinks Ink. I’ve used Van Son, and I see no advantage or reason to pay more. Spinks is less expensive and works perfectly fine for me.

I’ve used the code several times with no problem. You definitely have to order from letterpresspaper.com.You’ve seen where to enter it right? It’s a link at the bottom of the shopping cart pop-up window.Hope that helps!Kelly

Yup, C & P 10 x 15. I found the tutorial on here extremely helpful. Thanks so much for the recommendation for where to get a die. I definitely keep hearing good things about them.I know it’ll be more expensive (and time-consuming) than buying pre-cut coaster stock, but I feel good about the product I’ll be able to create if I go this route. I have only done die cutting once and it was a very long time ago… You will need to get a die made. I was recommended this place: appledie.comThere’s probably some toturials online. Do you work on a C and P ?
