I use Balune tape. Its a roll on double sided tape. Works a treat on standard card stock seem sok on cotton but test first.

It’s pretty easy to find (or make) a treadle! I made one out of a u bolt/metal rod and an old metal table leg, it works great. or there are usually a few on ebay, or google them. the treadle is easier to control (for me) than the motor, and in my heyday I could do about 400 impressions an hour…good luck! it’s always empowering to get an old…[Read more]

Thank you Mare. The press doesn’t have a treadle (sadly) and the motor he gave me is broken. I took the motor just for a reference when I get it up and running. I’m not sure what to do with it yet. It came with 2 belts. Thank you again very much 🙂
