we LOVE it at Pomegranate Letterpress + Design! It fits perfectly with our attempts at being as eco-friendly as possible. It is very low VOC and washes up with dish soap and water. Really, it does.On press, it is slightly less opaque than rubber inks and we take that into account when designing. It also does not stay open as long as rubber inks -…[Read more]

I did finally try them and they are great! The clean-up with soap and water is amazing and fast and doesn’t stink.Did you end up trying them out, Catherine?

davina, try using strathmore nat wht 130 dtc. its 25 percent cotton ( it has a not so smooth feel, giving it some great body) and takes color very well ( color so soft it makes for a elegant look as well ) . mohawk is a wind power mill ( environment plus over all the other mills). good luck!!! p.s comes only in parent sizes sheets .

@papercabaret I got mind done, but I used rubber ink for one side and probably should have used oil or etching ink.
Hope your printing goes well

Thanks everyone for all of the infomation!I contacted a local printer, and they said they will offset print on Lettra but won’t run anything over 130# — looks like I’ll have the go with 110# instead of 220#.

Atlantic paper will laminate their own stocks–I’m not sure about sending your finished job to them, though. My local offset printer will run 110# Lettra w/o complaint, but there is a lot of spoilage–more than there would be with a lighter stock. They have run 220# for me as well, but the print area wasn’t huge.
