The area around the University of Utah is one of the most beautiful in the city, full of historic homes, restaurants, coffee shops, and mountain trails. Short-term rentals abound.

Parking

To park on campus, we recommend the visitor lot right outside the J. Willard Marriott Library, 295 S. 1500 E. Parking is enforced Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is free on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can pay for a day pass for $30.00 or pay $3.00 per hour. Payment is by credit card only via kiosk or by phone. Signs posted in the parking lot have a QR code that will link to the online portal for payment.
