Maybe, depending on what you would like to do.

How would you do a calendar?

And what are postcard coasters? Where do you get them?

    Basically, I’m interested!

Ah, I get it about postcard coasters. Yes, I would be interested in doing them.

I was first thinking that these would be 4x6ish coaster-paper with rounded corners. . .still drinking coffee 🙂

Postcard coasters are 3 7/8″ x 5 3/8 with rounded corners — the ones I have are medium weight. Though heavy weight is available. Calender is an idea I had. We could each do 1 month if we came up with 12 people.. but we could do something else instead if some one has a good idea for it?

Cool! I’m in for postcard coasters. Where do you get the blank stock?

I buy coasters in bulk – have to buy it by the case of 1000 though. Im happy to buy a case(s) and split it out among those interested.

How many coasters would everyone want?  A sleeve is 125 for medium weight , that gives you a few to experiment on and would be easy for me to ship out to anyone who wanted to buy them from me. Though I could do smaller amounts if you wanted. So you would have the cost of the coasters (however many you wanted) + shipping.

I might actually want half a case for future projects, too, which is why I’m also interested in where you get them.

I’m in depending upon project. I have access to a Vandercook and the coasters just didn’t work. If the consensus is coasters – I’ll wait until next time! Thanks.

Did the coaster not work because there were too thick? I have some medium weight ones that are not as thick that might work on a vandercook.

Yes they were too thick – wouldn’t make it through it all. Got them on the web and never thought about them being different thicknesses. So now I have 100 in a box and never revisited the idea.

you should measure them and see how thick they are I have coasters that are 2mm as the thickest and 1.4mm as the middle then there is even a lighter (thinner one). So the thinnest or medium might work just for future reference

Though we could perhaps do a non coaster version?

We could do postcards and print them on whatever stock works for us, rather than doing postcard coasters (although those of us who might want to print postcard coasters could still do so).
