We could do postcards and print them on whatever stock works for us, rather than doing postcard coasters (although those of us who might want to print postcard coasters could still do so).
13 years, 5 months agoAgreed — im fine with that! Now we need to find a few more participants…
13 years, 4 months agoI’m new here, but I’m interested. So what is the project going to be? Postcard coasters? How does the swap work? I definitely want to know the details and the whole process. 🙂 How exciting!
13 years, 3 months agoI’m in if you still need more participants! Please just let me know everyone’s ideas for the swap and when it’s due 🙂
13 years, 3 months agoIts a calendar so its time sensitive! I was thinking that they would ship out to everyone early December.
Â
If we have enough participants (that can make the deadline) we all do 1 month each and ship them to me I will then combine them in to full calenders once I have everyone’s and then ship them back out. (unless someone else has a better way to do it?)
Â
12 month calendar (+ cover?)
Â
Costs: You would need provide your own coaster stock (or same sized heavy weight other stock, I can corner round them to match the coasters if needed. And you would cover the cost to ship your page to me in Idaho and send along a check for (likely $5) to cover the cost of me shipping you, your completed calendar.
Â
Design: (front of stock) Anything you want, but must have month and days represented on it.
(back of stock) Press name/logo??
Â
Orientation: Do we want the months to be all vertical or all horizontal or either way?
Â
Printing: Any number of colors you want, letterpress printed (+ any other techniques you might want to use).
Â
Paper: Either coaster stock (http://www.etsy.com/listing/71643680/125-blank-rectangular-coasters…)
Or any other heavy stock cut to the same size.
You can buy the coaster stock at a discounted price from me (already die cut) if you like, I can do any quantity you want if you do not want an entire sleeve of 125. Email me and we can arrange it.
Â
Any other thoughts? Who’s game?

13 years, 3 months agoI say we do at LEAST enough for 2 sets each. I like to keep one copy of each cool project around the studio for friends and clients alike to appreciate. I also would love to gift one (or more) to friends for Christmas. Since it’s just coasters, and they’re cheap, what if we do enough for everyone to get a few extra sets? Shipping would be maybe $2 or $3 more…
13 years, 3 months agoLet’s do enough for 3 sets each.
13 years, 3 months agoI agree more than one set would be nice! It would make a great gift.
I think at least 3 sets, anyone else have any thoughts?
