I had a career in digital font production, from 1982-2005, at Autologic, Imagen, IBM, Monotype Imaging. I’ve been involved with calligraphy and the arts of the book since the mid-70s. So I have one foot in the 15th Century and one in the 21st. Typography is my great love.I lived in the SF Bay area from 1998-2005 and loved being a part of the book arts community there (SFCB in particular).I live in Durham, NC now, and after surviving cancer have greatly simplified my life to focus on creating art and leaving a legacy.
