The American Printing History Association is pleased to announce that our 2020 annual conference will be held in partnership with the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin November 6-8, 2020. We are excited to accept letters of proposal for 30-minute speaking topics, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops.

The May 22 event “Women in a Golden Age of Artists’ Books” has been moved to the Center for Book Arts, located at 28 West 27th Street, 3rd Floor, between Broadway and 6th Avenue.

We discontinued buying Katz a few years ago when the cracking issue developed. It used to be a fine coaster but…something changed. It sounds like others in this thread experienced this as well. I don’t believe the coaster stock is grained like other types of paper, and the problems routinely surfaced whenever we hit the stock relatively hard.…[Read more]

I suppose it must not be distributed in Australia? Paper is heavy and would probably cost a lot to bring over yourself, I would think.
