Born in Amarillo, Texas, in 1948, and learned the trade from my father at age 12. Journalism degree from the University of Texas and a career as a reporter and editorial cartoonist (Pulitzer Prize, 1982). After retirement in 2009, have pursued letterpress more-or-less full-time.
