I say go for it! We either refinish or paint most of our type banks to clean them up and give the studio a cohesive look. Many printers do, and rehabbed ones will still have the same value, if not more. And honestly, type cases are a dime a dozen so you might as well do it!-Jen

first print one side the white paper, later print the black paper and amounting together…..that is the best way that you can make jobs in heavy papers…..

i use http://www.cutcardstock.com/LetterpressCardStock.aspx they charge $5 to cut to any size you want for up to 100 pieces and scoring is, if i remember correctly, just anther $18. their prices are super reasonable. shipping is $5 or free. and customer service is the best.
