thanks Kathryn. good point on the design. I have yet to decide on whether to stick with just photopolymers or add in handset type. I also have cuts that I have collected over the years just because they look cool to me. sam

Hi Samantha, thanks for your advice.Since writing that post, i have taken the plunge and bought not one but two large presses. Once is a chinese platen pedal press, and the other a heidelberg windmill. i have used the pedal press to make my wedding invitations (teaching my self to use it), not 100% deep impression, better impress on text an image…[Read more]

Hi Rachel,I started out with an Adana 8×5 back in 2006. I only got it to do wedding invitations for one of my best friends. I got that press cheap and…[Read more]

Hi Davina,I wondered about that too but since I’m trying to start a letterpress business that would produce and sell notecards and such, I would think it would be a copyright infringement if I used their plates to use on things I’m selling unless they have an angel policy I suppose.if you find out anything, let me know.

I believe there is a way to make the ipad function like a wacom tablet but you have to use airDisplay and turn off your firewall (which I don’t recommend.…[Read more]
