What kind of press do you have? I usually use one piece of press board .030 and one tympan paper. This is a nice hard pack. It won’t smash and distort if you are seeking a heavy impression and of course makes a great kiss impression too.

That is a foil stamper. Looks like you need to use an air compressor to make it cycle on impression. Google Franklin/Kensol. They are still being made. I have a couple of table top foil stampers and they are a very nice addition to any shop/studio. If it’s still available and free don’t pass it up. Why don’t you laminate/duplex the color your client wants?

When I travel, I like to buy postcards. Most tourists shops sell the postcards but no stamps. I wonder if the “forever” stamps might work? Just tossing around ideas.

My local post office said .016 and no larger than 6×4-1/4 to get the post card rate. Karen you may want to print on two different stocks, one for your local sales and one for the swap. Or maybe print on the back extra postage needed.

Karen,That’s a good question. I’m not really sure how to answer it. I will check with my local post office on Monday. I’m not sure if anyone will actually be mailing these postcards, or if they will become more of a collectors item. 16 mil is fairly thick paper although no where close to say lettra. Ladies chime in here.
