Tympan paper is the (usually yellow) paper on which you place your gauge pins to hold the paper for printing. Tympan paper is the top layer of your backing (usually redboard). In a local antique shop we found a very used set of silver metal tables. (Think grunge-loft-paint splattered-industrial. I love them, but my husband just doesn’t get it! I, too, am in Dallas, having jumped head first into a C&P Pilot after taking local classes. My Pilot has a Boxcar base, which is altogether new to me. Would appreciate any tips!
